The Holman Motors Championship Racing Series on C103 to broadcast the DTWC

Portsmouth, OH: Race fans who may not be able to attend the 32nd Annual Red Buck Dirt Track World Championship featuring Borrowed Blue on October 18-20 will be able to tune in to C103 Country (103.1 FM) for all the high intensity racing action. Carl Short is the promoter of the prestigious crown jewel event, and for the first time will be held at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, OH.

The live broadcast will air starting on Friday evening beginning at 9:00 PM EST with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Heat Races. Then on Saturday things get underway starting at 7:00PM with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series B-Mains, the 30 lap Modified A-Main, the Late Model Jim Dunn Memorial, and 100 lap $50,000 to win DTWC.

“It’s a thrill to partner with Carl Short and the 2012 Red Buck Dirt Track World Championship,” stated show co-host Kyle Wainscott of the Holman Motors Championship Racing Series. “They have been a joy to work with in every capacity. This form of racing deserves to be exposed to all race fans, and we are excited to do that.” This season fans outside of the C103 listening area will be able to listen online by going to the stations website http://www.c103.fm.

Joining Kyle on the microphones will be the shows host Ken Smith. Ken is a veteran in the radio business working as the stations sales manager, and sports broadcaster. Ken started broadcasting local dirt track races in 2001. Kyle started as the announcer for the Brown County Speedway in 2001 until the track closed in 2008. Kyle then joined Ken full time as the co-host of the Holman Motors Championship Racing Series on C103.

Ticket prices for the DTWC will be $50 for adult 3-day general admission, $15 general admission for children ages 6-11, with children under age six admitted free. Three-day pit passes will be $60.

The 32nd Annual Red Buck Dirt Track World Championship featuring Borrowed Blue kicks off on Thursday evening October 18th with qualifying, heat races, and consolation races to set the starting grid for the Modifieds. Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying and heat races will be held on Friday evening October 19th. Consolation races, the Jim Dunn Memorial non-qualifiers race, the Modified 30 lap feature and the 100-lap Dirt Track World Championship to be held on Saturday evening October 20th.
