Wendell Wallace Competes at Whynot; Cotton Pickin 100 Next

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Wendell Wallace and his #6m team traveled to the Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 12-13 for the 18th Annual 'Coors Light Fall Classic.' The unsanctioned, two-day show paid $15,000 to the winner. On Friday night during preliminary action, Wendell laid down a good lap during the qualifying session and later grabbed the second transfer spot through his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the 100-lapper on Saturday evening, Wendell was unfortunately caught up in an early wreck and was paid for twenty-first at the pay window following the 'Coors Light Fall Classic.' Complete results from Whynot can be viewed online at www.whynotmotorsportspark.com.

The Wendell Wallace Autosports team is scheduled to take the upcoming October 19-20 weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition. They will return to the state of Mississippi on October 26-27 for the 9th Annual ‘Cotton Pickin 100.’ The Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi will once again play host to the unsanctioned event, which boasts another $15,000 payday. Wendell will be gunning for his fifth victory of 2012 at “The Mag” in what is likely to be his season finale. Additional information can be obtained by clicking on www.magnoliadirt.com.
