With the no porting rule you would be better off to get an oval or D port head from a mustang.Mill it to the intake bolt holes if allowed.Find a straight mustang intake(not the efi). With stock valves the straight intakes will give you better throttle response at lower to mid throttle.Stay away from the super size cams until you have perfected your cars set up and your driving style.Otherwise your engine and car will preform like a sick dog.

The d-ports are good to use also use the lower efi intake if yoy have it. Post your motor rules before you go and cut it to the bolt holes to make sure you do not go over comression rules.

The engine is an 87 efi , We have no compression rule but .450 lift hyd cam must use stock type cast pistons, 500 holley. What 's good duration numbers on a cam 3/8 mile dirt.
