    Default 2 barrel pistons

whats a good piston to use? i see light weight pistons that say they are good for up to 400 hp, but i was thinking that is kind of low? is a 383 with a gauge legal VDL carb going to make more then 400 hp? motor rules are basically open aslong as you have a gauge legal carb and cast iron heads and block. planning to run Iron eagle 64cc heads. dont know the runner off the top of my head.

Assuming you are referring to a flat tappet cam.
A good engine builder will hit 520 hp easy. I have seen guys run the 2 bbl LW pistons. If you need the motor on kill, get the very best pistons sold. I dont spend money that way.
