1st Annual Duck River Deep Fried 75 this Weekend at Duck River Raceway Park

Wheel, TN (11/12/12) – The excitement is building for the this weekends November 15th-17th, 1st Annual Deep Fried 75 $10, 000 To-Win Super Late Model Event at Duck River Raceway Park, LLC (Wheel, TN)

Duck River Raceway Park fans here’s your event of 2012, get ready to see some of the best racing in Duck River Raceway history on Friday and Saturday November 16th -17th, 2012. Many Regional and National Super Late Model teams from across the country will be on hand to try their luck at plucking the duck of its $10,000 pay day to the winner. Over $30,000’s in total purse for the 1st Annual Deep Fried 75 super late model event alone, with notable drivers scheduled to be in attendance that include: Vic Hill, Ray Cook, Bub McCool, Dennis Erb Jr., Mike Marlar, Brandon Kinser, Ryan Gifford, Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth, Ross Camponovo, Daniel Miller, Justin Ratliff, Dane Dacus, Brad Skinner, Tanner English in addition to many more of the top Regional and National talent making their way to Duck River Raceway Park for the Deep Fried 75.

On Thursday November 15th, 2012 Duck River Raceway Park will have an Open Practice with Gates Opening at 5pm, Practice will begin at 6pm and run till 9pm. There will be a $20 admission fee for the Pits. $10 General Admission to Grandstands

On Friday November 16th, 2012 action for the Duck River Deep Fried 75 will begin with Gates opening at 12pm for early arrivals and race teams. The drivers meeting will take place at 7:15pm and racing to begin immediately after with hot laps starting things off. Classes racing on Friday November 16th will be Super Late Models, Pure Stock/Bombers, & Pure Pony. Pure Pony will be racing for a $500 To-Win event.

Super Late Models will group qualify taking the top fastest cars from each group (the number of cars taken from each group will be based on car count) There will be a Fast Time Award of $500 provided by A-Plus Collision Center and Preferred Sandblasting.

The remaining cars will run 10 lap heat races taking a (X) amount of cars from each group to bring the field to 18. Cars not making the feature through qualifying and heat races will run last chance race on Saturday night. Pure Stock/Bombers and Pure Pony will run heat races and features.

After events conclude on Friday night November 16th the band “RAZIN CANE” will be providing music entertainment for everyone that’s staying over the night at Duck River Raceway Park, LLC.

Saturday November 17th, 2012 Duck River Raceway Park will be partnering up with The Racing 2 the Rapture Racing Team to provide a free breakfast for all the racers and fans on the grounds at Duck River Raceway Park Saturday morning from 7-11am.

Gates will open at 12pm on Saturday November 17th. Classes racing on Saturday will be Super Late Models, 2 Barrel/Crates, Openwheels and Outlaw Pony. Racing action pick’s with the drivers meeting taking place 4:30pm and racing to begin immediately afterwards with hot laps kicking things off for the night. 2 barrel/crates will qualify, Openwheel and outlaw pony’s will run heats and feature events. Super Late Models will run last chance races and the Duck River Deep Fried 75 lap $10,000 To-Win event.

Super Late Models that do not attend on Friday night November 16th and want to attempt to race their way into the feature on Saturday can do so by; purchasing an armband for both Friday & Saturday and paying the $175 entry fee for the race. You will have to start on the rear of the consolation races and race your way in to the feature line up.

November 16th and 17th Duck River Deep Fried 75 super late models will be required to race with an 8 inch spoiler and by the Duck River Raceway Park Tire Rules: Hoosier 1600 shoulder plate , LM 40, American Racer 56 Rear Tires only: must punch no less than 50 after qualifying and after the feature have id.# number. Raceivers will be required for both Super Late Models and 2 Barrel Late Models

Deep Fried 75 event T-Shirts and Hoodies will be available for purchase and Duck River Raceway Park will be giving away 10 Turkeys by drawing during the Friday and Saturday night portion of the events.

Duck River Raceway Park will also be taking donations of Non-Perishable food items to be donated to those less fortunate. Please help us stock a families cabinet by bringing canned goods and other non-perishable food on Friday and Saturday.

Admission to the Duck River Deep Fried 75 will be: General Admission $25 or 2 day Pass for $45 Kids $10. Pit Admission will be $40 or a 2 day Pass for $75 Kids $10. Friday Gates will open at 12pm and Drivers meeting at 7:15pm Racing to start immediately after the drivers meeting. Saturday November 17th Gates open at 10am and drivers meeting at 4:30pm racing to start right after drivers meeting.
