Conley’s Conclude 2012 Season in Halloween 50 at 201 Speedway

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) The 2012 racing season for the Conley Motorsports, Inc. team officially came to a close on Saturday night, November 10 at the newly-reopened 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky. The rain-postponed 'Halloween 50' took place over the weekend at 201 and a $3,000 payday was on the line. Rod Conley ran second in heat race action prior to moving up to fifth in the unsanctioned 50-lapper to finish behind only winner Jackie Boggs, Eddie Carrier, Jr., Josh McGuire, and Victor Lee.

R.J. Conley made a last minute decision to join his brother at 201 and piloted a #2 MasterSbilt by Huey entry for Joe Ramey. The Wheelersburg, Ohio native also finished second in his heat race and was running fifth in the A-Main before a broken water pump dropped R.J. to a twentieth place effort. Now that their respective 2012 campaigns are in the record book, each of the Conley’s can look back on their strong seasons. Delmas Conley accumulated one win, five Top Fives, and seventeen Top Tens in the thirty-one races that he entered during the ’12 season. Rod Conley racked up three feature victories, seventeen Top Fives, and twenty-nine Top Tens in fifty-three events. R.J. Conley posted three wins, nineteen Top Fives, and twenty-three Top Tens in thirty-five shows. In addition, Rod was also crowned the American Dirt Racing Association (ADRA) Champion, while R.J. was named the Portsmouth Raceway Park Track Champion.
