He thinks Clayton should be banned for doing it, but admits to doing it. That IS hypocrisy.

No, he is specifically talking about Clayton and political posts, not about him calling names. Don't be so shallow...
Curious that we spend more time congratulating people who have succeeded than encouraging people who have not.

If he was only addressing political posting then he shouldn't have mentioned the name calling. But, he DID. Now he (and you) want to act like it wasn't mentioned. Why?

Allow me to repost the exact quote....

"Clayton should have been banned long ago for name calling, political post after political post, etc."

AFL-CIO President Trumpka Outlines Union’s Revolutionary Communist Plan

Posted on September 28, 2010 by Rob Taylor

What this? A trade union planning the overthrow of our economic system and the Sovietization of America? Who would have seen this coming?

The danger here is that Trumpka represents tens of thousands of thugs, I mean workers, who he has proven will violently take to the streets at his direction. At some point that means a new Red Army might be marching on your town to enforce the will of the “workers” which is basically the will of our global Marxist enemies.

I predict that when food becomes scarce and and the economy hits bottom much of the civil unrest will be of the organized kind and it will be led by Trumpka and people like him. Are you ready to defend your property from these thugs?

    From the AFL-CIO NOW Blog:

With the economy continuing to stagger and job creation not moving quickly, “working people are justifiably angry and frustrated” as they approach the Nov. 2 elections, says AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.

Trumka and Working America Executive Director Karen Nussbaum, New York Times columnist Bob Herbert, Eric Alterman, journalist and senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, and moderator Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor and publisher of the Nation, led a panel discussion—Which Way for the Working Class? Elections 2010 and Beyond—Friday afternoon in New York City.

More than 400 people attended the event at the Great Hall at Cooper Union.

Trumka said it is vital to channel working-class anger away from Fox News and Tea Party extremists who are delivering

a cynical, deeply dishonest and incoherent message—that big government is somehow to blame for the current crisis that the budget deficit will eat our children, and that illegal immigrants took all the good jobs.

    [...]

In the short term, said Trumka, the labor movement has to “recapture the moment and take control of the national conversation.” Building for the future,

we need to fundamentally restructure our economy and re-establish popular control over the private corporations which have distorted our economy and hijacked our government. That’s a long-term job, but one we should start now.

Sounds like Trumpka is trying to use the economic collapse to build an empire with him at the wheel, and populated with communists angry at the world. Dangerous and reason number one you need to gather intel on which unions are powerful in your area, who the players are and what precautions you’ll need to take to protect your family and loved one once their pogroms start.

Since unions activists tend to be far left many will be armed with makeshift weapons, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have a stockpile of Venezuelan AKs courtesy of their man Chavez hidden in one of their warehouses. But recent history proves most union assaults are beatings and large crowds intimidating people. Plan for hardening your house against crowds. Keep extra wood around to board up windows and door jams to keep people from kicking their way in. Also keep plenty of fire extinguishers around the house and in your car. Tundra mini-extinguishers are particularly easy to store in every room but should not be used as your primary extinguisher.

Leather motorcycle jackets have provided urban goers (including myself for many years) with modest protection from assaults for decades and now often come with removable “armor” plates that may take the sting out of a union goons cudgel. Hot but when that box cutter attack doesn’t open you up you’ll appreciate it. There are fabric jackets of similar design which are lighter and cheaper, and even a denim jacket lined with a thin layer of kevlar that will give (very) minor flame and slash resistance.

But your best defense is to figure out where these neo-reds are going to be, what their flash point is and be bugged in when they take to the streets.

Maybe citizens need to keep their guns just for such a reason also?
