    Default 2003 masterbuilt question

    Looking to buy a latemodel for the crate class was wondering if a2003 masterbuilt was a good car

    Gonna have ground clearance issues on the rf frame rail. Awful old to trust any chassis that old. You are going to have some rusting of the tubes from the inside out even if this thing was a garage queen.

    I don't doubt you at all, just curious how old should be the limit to consider.

    had a 03, wish I still had it, my son talked me into a rayburn. Won several races in the mastersbilt, now back to a 08 mastersbilt

    No set rule works. A two year old chassis with a bunch of holes drilled in it that sat outside all the time could be pretty dangerous.
