    Dirt racing is going extinct..

and you same few people spend all your time making it so no sane person would actually want to come on these boards and talk about racing and want to show up for a race.

I took another look at this and it appears that there cause of death is attributed to a suicide. I think my memory of it is from an initial report, lord knows those tend to be inaccurate. Thanks for pointing this out.

thats a good question. Why is the local sheriffs department decked out with m16/m4s?

Are the new bans going to cover those too as well?

Or just the older pre1986 or pre1994 AR-10/AR-15s?

If you don't watch carefully you'll lose.... Um, so what are you going to do? The President cannot sign a bill into law that hasn't passed through the House.... sooooooooo Republicans will have to support whatever measures are taken.

No, it wasn't. They sat down with their heads back to back as they had agreed and each put a gun in his mouth. Their "deal" was they would agree on a count and pull the trigger at the same time. They sat with their heads back to back to ensure neither lived. Neither did.

I fail to see how any of this is the guns fault... If someone wants to hurt you or someone else, they'll find a way. In the European countries that have outlawed private gun ownership people are still murdered, usually stabbing or chopping or blunt force. The problem isn't the weapon its the evil in the person. Cane killed Abel and he used a rock. And Perfcon is right the biggest school child killing involved dynamite and luckily only about half of it went off. You see when evil is in your heart and you want to hurt someone, you will find a way. Who's to say someone couldn't get a job in a school cafeteria and poison the food... Or like that guy who felt his town wronged him and hurt his business, so he took like 2 or 3 years planning, bought a bulldozer at auction, outfitted it with armor plating and proceeded to destroy the town. You see someone consumed with hate, real hate, is willing to do what they have to satisfy that hate, which means breaking laws. So making new laws will do nothing when someone is willing to break them. Only honest people who respect the laws to begin with will follow them and as a result of the "Progressive, Liberal, Left" they will be left defenseless because of the law. I understand the outrage, but put your rage where it belongs, on the killer, the family that was lax with dealing with their son and whoever was foolish enough to let him in the building where he should not have even been able to go.

As long as I can remember, Murder has been illegal and it still happens everyday and sometimes in new creative ways never thought of.

More guns is not the answer and gun control is not the answer. In my view there is no right answer. It may be a combination of things but, I do believe if someone is intent on killing someone they will find a way. The only thing guns do is make it easier to kill and if that is not true why were guns invented in the first place.

If they are completely intent on committing the crime, why are they picking up guns? I mean, according to most people, since they are going to kill anyways, shouldn't they be using other means in these mass homicides?

A 17-year-old, self-proclaimed white supremacist will be arraigned today in what police say was a plot to attack fellow students at his high school in Russell County, Ala., with homemade explosive devices.

Did the attack happen, I can't find where it did Terry.

Lets not forget 181 School shootings since Columbine. How many mass bombings at schools?

This is so dumb it's not even funny.

By this reasoning, I should only think the playing field is level between me and my government if I have fighter jets, a Navy, Patriot missiles, Mark 82s, Mark IVs, cluster bombs, Howitzers, 60mm cannon, Tanks, APCs and some nuclear bombs and missiles.

In answer to your completely ignorant question and totally stupid reasoning, yes. Because every soldier, sailor, airman, coastie and marine in our nation comes from a family back home, just like you and me and everyone else, and ultimately they will not obey unlawful orders to "attack Des Moines, IA" just because some political nitwit says so.

Ultimately I do not "fear the government." Because the entire armed forces are all people just like us, and there would be mutiny in the ranks if any elected dimwit ever tried to tell the military to attack their own families.

    Here's how it would go:

Commander in Chief Ignorant Assimus: "Gentleman, today in the face of growing political opposition, we must by means of force attack and secure San Francisco, California and then we will proceed to move south until we have conquered Los Angeles and San Diego. From there, having established a base of operations in the West, we shall begin the air assault on Cheyenne Wyoming and Denver, once we have obliterated any opposition in the Rocky Mountain corridor we shall move across the plains securing Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. From there we will regroup, do a post battle debrief and meet to plan the strategy for taking everything east of the Mississippi. Godspeed, gentleman, begin the attack!!!"

Generals in the room look at each other, conclude CIC Ignorant Assimus has lost it and have him escorted from the room. End of story.

    How stupid are you?
