Ultimately I do not "fear the government." Because the entire armed forces are all people just like us, and there would be mutiny in the ranks if any elected dimwit ever tried to tell the military to attack their own families.

Here's how it would go:

Commander in Chief Ignorant Assimus: "Gentleman, today in the face of growing political opposition, we must by means of force attack and secure San Francisco, California and then we will proceed to move south until we have conquered Los Angeles and San Diego. From there, having established a base of operations in the West, we shall begin the air assault on Cheyenne Wyoming and Denver, once we have obliterated any opposition in the Rocky Mountain corridor we shall move across the plains securing Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. From there we will regroup, do a post battle debrief and meet to plan the strategy for taking everything east of the Mississippi. Godspeed, gentleman, begin the attack!!!"

When these morons finally get the clip size reduced and another incident happens, what is their excuse then? Same as last? Assault weapons ban...again!!!! even though the assault weapon ban was in affect at Sandy Hook and Columbine....didn't help much, did it. Laws don't stop criminals. Like a speed limit, I bet most on here break them from time to time, and on occasion, ya get caught, but it doesn't stop the speeding, does it?
