Quick change tubes
What length tubes are needed to make a 60 centered i have one with aluminum tubes and need to order some steel tubes thanks
-
What hub are you using? I build steel tubes .Birdcages fitted to a 3.008 bearing so you will not need to do any work to the tubes . 563-659-1153

Most tubes are sold in one length and you cut them to the size you need.
-
would that be 24'' from bearing seat to end of tube or overall length thanks..

Not sure where you heard this but it is not correct. They are sold in 1 inch increments.

Unless QC 's are different than a 9" 30.5 axles are incorrect for a 60" centered. For a 60" centered you need a 32.5 on the right and a 28.5 on the left.

yokes are centered on a QC and are offset on a 9 inch

as stated,QC yokes are centered,..and if you change tubes,..youll need to change to the right length axles... http://static.speedwaymotors.com/ima...rt-9197334.gif
next thing youll need to consider is if ya want GN hubs or wide5s...good luck...

We must use a different brand then. I've bought and installed a half dozen or so and all were cut to length.

My tubes that I build are custom length or made long so you can cut to the length you need, should use the end of tube to the inner bearing seat for a length.
