Default wish i was no rookie

On my rayburn I have one 90/10 on the back of my rear end and on latter bar I just have a chain running up to the frame do I need to put another 90/10 shock in the back of rear end because of no brake spring which ppl at my local track say I need or can I run a shock with a spring on it on the latter bar? With no brake spring what would that do to my car

on our rayburns we ran 2 shocks from the rearend to the back of the car and those are 10-90 shocks, not 90-10. Be sure to get the right shocks, also you should have a pull bar running from the top of the rearend to the front on the frame.

OK that's what I must have is a 10/90 it pushes in easy and pulls out hard and I do have a pull bar running from the rear end to the Frame going towards the front of the car why would u have two 2 10/90 in it? Cuz u ran no brake bar or brake spring

Keeps the car tighter on braking, some people run 1 and if you need it tighter add the other

The shock going to the rear will be an AFCO 1-14. You will only need 1 of those in the center of rearend unless track gets really slick, then you can put 1 on each side of the rearend. If you run the shocks to the front, you will need to run 2 9010's. Nothing wrong with with the ladder bar stuff, some people just prefer the brake bar, myself included.

Most cars do not have shocks on rear end.

On my 09 we ran the afco 1/14 on the rear end also it helps tighten the car on entry

To double the dampening effect. Increasing the dampening will tighten the car on decel/entry, which is what you need when the track slicks off. Since you use a chain and no brake spring/6th coil, you probably really need two shocks...
