    Default Door Panel Mounting

I'm about to reskin a street stock Monte Carlo. How do you guys attach the door panel to the front fender and rear quarter? The current ones are just gutted doors and welded at the front and back. I plan on buying aftermarket panels and didn't know if they usually have a lip that allows them to be riveted or if I have to tack them in place.

we bought a monte carlo body from performance bodies. the door skins have about a 1-2in on each side to pop rivet to. the body went together so easy also.

Yes a person to help initially help hold the door in place is very helpful but I have done mine alone. A cleco kit as mentioned is really helpful.
