Not familiar with that one. What tire do they use? Are they like USMTS/USRA or more like IMCA or more like UMP....which would be my guess given the location.

Thanks. I think this is the right direction:
Tires:
A. For the 2013 season, for all EDGE E-modified division sanctioned events (this includes national weekly and Renegade Modified touring events) only the use of any medium or harder compound 8" modified racing tire will be allowed. The use of any SOFT compound tire is illegal. Any medium or harder compound which includes the Hoosier M100 & M200 compound tires are LEGAL. The tires may be siped and grooved, however chemically altering the tire by any means (treatments, etc.) is illegal and strictly enforced. However, beginning in the 2014 season, all EDGE sanctioned weekly events will require the use of the time tested, durable and single compound (G60) racing tire.
I guess that means American Racer KK704s (original G60 Modified tire) would be legal this year at least. And maybe next or will it be Hoosier only?
Ever see any Hughes, Skyrocket, GRT or Shaw Mod Chassis that far east?

The right thing to do
Finally a series has stepped up and said this tire thing is getting out of hand. No soft tires and next year one coumpound. Can't wait till next year when you can have a couple of extra tires instead of a dozen. Good job TSMA and Renegades.

Hook:
For 2013 any medium or harder compound tire is legal. Any brand.
For 2014 the KK704 and G60 racing tire will be the only allowable compound tires on all four corners.
Lots of Shaw cars. Couple GRT's. Haven't really had any Skyrocket or Hughes this way.
So basically this year its open tire other than no softs.
Buick: Thanks for the kind words.

This together with the World of Outlaw Late Models there, what a show!
I like that in 2014, at least with tires, your series and USMTS are getting close on rules. There has been an unnecessary barrier at the Mississippi river for too long in my mind when it comes to big Mod shows.
