    Default dart lil m

What would you use a dart lil m block with 4 inch bore and 400 main journals. I have never seen a dart block like that. Not sure why you want large 400 mains and not the 350. Any info or insight why they did this would be great. Just trying to understand why this block was made like this.

Simply put.........so 400 cranks would fit. Can't say that I have seen one of those though.

I realize a 400 crank would fit but anyone buying a 2600 dollar block would not be using a stock crank. And buying aftermarket crank you sure would want to get surface speed of bearing down so you wouldn't want 400 mains in it. Just trying to figure out what thi bloc would be good for.

Bore it to 4.155 and put a 4 inch stroke crank in it.

guys using long stokes sometimes like to use 400 mains to have more overlap and a stronger crank. that may be why the went with the 400 main.
