cutting collector

im running 180's and they added a muffler rule this year, the only way i will be able to put mufflers on is to either cut the collectors and put on 45 degree elbows, or to cut out my "earnhardt" bar. id rather cut the collector but would like some input on this forst, any help would be appreciated.

go to schonfeld header site , they have all combos of 30* and 45* long and short collectors that will fill your need.you will need one long 30* and one short 30* to drop the headers down below the bar, with a slight twist of the pipe you can run the mufflers down low in the car parrell with the frame and dump them to the ground with no problem.
