Default Lowering blocks and long u-bolts?

    Hey guys,

Needing to get my ride height correct, it looks like I will need to use between 3-4" of lowering blocks....which means I will likely need 12" u-bolts. This is for a 3" axle tube. Any idea where to source these?

    Thanks!

Any spring shop that works on truck springs has a bender to make any length you want. They also sell the double thick washers and extra long nuts.
Be careful on too much lowering block.

Thanks! What are the risks with too much lowering block? How much is too much? 3.5" total be OK?

    Refer to this:http://www.afcoracing.com/tech_pages/leaf.shtml

I've tried the range, I try to stay under 3 in.

if you need this much lowering block, you are probably sprung to stiff.

you really dont know what you need til u got a full tank of fuel/ballast,air pressure set to optinum, and hot lapped a couple times,if the rides half inch high in the rear who cares.but then again im not understanding why lowering blocks are the only way you can change the ride or how you've determined the ride or determined what the ride should be,so i just wont comment.lol
