With the ever growing crime rate, I am now starting to think if we should really be that free to own a gun.

Just think about what you said, the criminals are already law breakers, why on earth would they surrender their weapons. Do you liberals ever actually think anything through? Have you any idea how many millions of weapons (mostly unregistered I'd bet) there are in the United States?
