    I dont know, cant seem to get anyone to answer when i check their web sites.

    Are you putting the flexplate between the block and bell housing?? If not, no starter will mesh correctly.

    Of course, you cant install the clutch any other way. flex has to be attatched to the crank.

    woops, I think you mean the spacer plate, yes I never put one together without the spacer plate.
