    Default Brake shoes and pads

Looking for some recommendations for shoes and pads on an IMCA hobby stock. I've only ever used your local part store cheap pads and shoes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Should I install on both front wheels, or a Hawk on the left front and a stock on the right front. Thanks for the info.

If you want the car to pull left when braking only do one side. I personaly think "ANY" kind of left to right brake biais is a bad idea. Not only for the obvious reason that the car will pull left at all times when braking and may cause a wreck in a panic stop trying to aviod a spin, BUT in the process of getting the front end to turn in better it also gets the rear of the car started into a loose from the center off condition.

Black hawks are great, you may also want to try a "Severe Duty" pad from you local parts store. They are a very heavy metalic pad with great stopping power. Eric
