I need ratios for a 77et 7006aa and for a 74wt 7006 aa. I know they are a 2.14 mustang and a 1.97 pinto 2nd gear, but I'd like to find out what third gear is for either trans too.

I tried posting a link, but the admins don't seem to ever get around to approving links. Anyway use wayback machine to look up the breezeman archive

    http://web.archive.org/web/200407081...m/transmission .html

you will have to delete the spaces between the address and html

Here is what I have. I had to do some digging to find these lists. NOTE that the lists do not have all the transmissions that were produced. Hope this helps.

One other note to the lists that I just posted. They are ratios that I have translated from postings and from some manuals. If you find any that any of them are incorrect please post the correct ratios so that we can all have the correct data.

    Thanks.

Yours is 2.14 if I'm not mistaken.

Put transmission in gear mark input shaft and output shaft. turn input shaft 10 rounds count how many times output shaft turns. divide 10 by output shaft rotation. You now have your transmission ratio in that gear. Throw tag in trash and write ratios on transmission with paint marker.

If you really want to be to the point you can put a degree wheel on the input and output. Mark your 0 points and then do the turns.
