9.5" vs 12"

On a metric car, if I'm running a spring bucket with a 9.5" 1200lb spring in the right front, what would be the difference if I took out the spring bucket and just ran the 12" 1200lb spring?

In theory nothing, but you will get a springier or spongy feel on that corner. I would not do it. We always uses shorter springs. 9.5 front, 11 rear.

Without any adjustments on the buckets how would I increase ride height. Track is really rough in 1&2
and when I go in and start hitting those rutts its throwing me up the track. I'm not pushing, its actually bouncing.

Rear shocks have a rebound of 158 and compression of 117, and the fronts have a rebound of 197 and compression of 154

Shocks are not that old. Maybe has a season on em' but car was an asphalt car.

springs are rated on how much it takes to compress them per inch last I knew

We have 2 near identical cars, one with tall springs and one with short springs. To me the one with the short springs is easier to drive. Maybe springier or spongier isn't the right way to describe it. But the short spring car is just easier for me. The tall spring one seems to wishy washy, to me.

You can do what you like, I don't care. Just giving my 2 cents.
