Scott James Seventh in WOOLMS Points Heading into Tennessee Tripleheader

(BRIGHT, INDIANA) The Warrior House Car team and driver Scott James headed to the Tarheel State of North Carolina on April 19-20 for a pair of $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series battles. Following a rain-out on Friday night at the Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Scott was in action on Saturday evening at the 311 Motor Speedway in Madison, North Carolina.

Scott started off his night by clicking off the nineteenth fastest lap during the qualifying session and later placing fifth in his loaded heat race. After starting the 50-lap feature event from the inside of the seventh row, the Bright, Indiana native had high hopes of making his way towards the front of the stellar field. However, a broken left rear axle tube caused Scott to only complete 22 circuits and he wound up in the eighteenth finishing position. The driver known as the "Silver Shark" now finds himself seventh in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings. Full results can be viewed online at www.woolms.com.

Next up for the #1G team will be three more World of Outlaws Late Model Series tilts in the Volunteer State of Tennessee from April 26-28. The Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee will play host to a $10,000 to win show on Friday night, while the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee will do the same on Saturday evening. The third and final $10,000 to win WoO event of the weekend will take place on Sunday at the Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee.
