    Default Rough Track shocks

What do you do the your shocks when the track get real bad. Lets say you are running a straight 4/4. Do you add compression/rebound and go to a 5/5.
I see that afco has a rough track 3 , 4, and 5 shock. We currently dont run afcos and would like to stick to a single brand. I am not opposed to getting something custom valved but kind wonder what i am looking for so that i dont get sold the golden gate bridge by the shock guy.
    Thanks for the help.

We ran the Bilstein SZ series Digressive valve shocks last season and were very happy with them in all track conditions. You get what you pay for when it comes to shocks. I wouldnt put a AFCO on my Lawn Mower, just had very bad luck with them. Just my .02
