    Default Rough Track shocks

What do you do the your shocks when the track get real bad. Lets say you are running a straight 4/4. Do you add compression/rebound and go to a 5/5. Do you add gas?
I see that afco has a rough track 3 , 4, and 5 shock. We currently dont run afcos and would like to stick to a single brand. I am not opposed to getting something custom valved but kind wonder what i am looking for so that i dont get sold the golden gate bride by the shock guy.
    Thanks for the help.

We gas ours up, if they were at 50lbs, we set them to around 100lbs, forces the shock down faster and keeps the car more stable
