Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Cedar Ridge Speedway on May 18

Glasgow, KY-May 9, 2013- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is set to return to competition as its quest for a 2013 series champion continues on Saturday May 18 at Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY with an event that will pay $1,500 to the winner. The event was originally scheduled for April 27, but fell victim to inclement weather.

The Saturday May 18 event for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will take place at Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY. The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will present a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main event. Also on the racing card at Cedar Ridge Speedway on Saturday May 18 will be Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Cruisers, Rusty Bolts, and UMP Mini Stocks

Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event at Cedar Ridge Speedway on Saturday May 18 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m. and the general admission area open at 3:00 p.m. Pill draw closes at 5:30, with practice laps set for 5:45 p.m. Time trials will begin at 6:00 p.m., with racing immediately following time trials. All times listed are CDT. Ticket prices for this May 18 event at Cedar Ridge Speedway in the general admission area are $10 for adults (ages 12 and over), children ages 5 to 11 will be $2, children ages 4 and under are free, and a pit pass will be $30.
