    Default blistered tires

Can to much rear steer cause rear tires to blister? Very slick track. track was also rough so i wasnt even driving the car very hard and kept it straight and i blistered 2 new tires in an 8 lap heat race and 2 old hard tires from last year in a 20 lap feature. didnt slide car or spin the tires more then just the normal spin. American Racer G60 with cross grooves every 3rd block with 3 blade sipe in every block going a cross the tire.

    Thanks

Just one possibility, how deep are you siping the tire? Iv had that problem before with both my mod on Hoosier g60's and my LM on certain tracks.

    about 3/16"

i did find after that race that all my preload was gone from the pullbar, thinking the track and that was to blame. i wasnt the only car with this problem. last race out was just fine on tires

on our G60's we go 1/16" apart and 1/16" deep with a 14 blade siper
