Conley Motorsports, Inc. Strong in Portsmouth Season Opener; Big Weekend Ahead

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) All three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers were in attendance at the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday night, May 11 for the track's season opening event. R.J. Conley timed in second quickest during the qualifying session, finished second in the dash, and later led the first seventeen laps of the $2,000 to win feature event. Following a bout with a lapped car, R.J. wound up a strong runner-up behind only winner Jackie Boggs.

Rod Conley won his heat race in preliminary action prior to driving his #71r machine to a fourth place effort in the A-Main. Delmas Conley, the patriarch of the racing Conley family, also won his heat race before netting a tenth place performance in the 2013 lid lifter at PRP.
