soft rear control arm bushings

I bought a set of soft rear control arm bushings from speedway to try this year. i put them in the top mounts on my rear end to try and get a little more bite. they seemed to work pretty well. but after only 3 races this year the rubber is all tore out of them and the bushings are junk. does anyone have any ideas on a bushing that will work the same as these do but will last and not tear out in 3 races? thanks

when i talked with medievel at an expo when they first came out with the soft ones, he said to run them in the lowers, and if you wanted to run them in the uppers they didnt last very long, i ran them a full season in the lower arms, never tried the uppers

What about drilling holes in stock rubber bushings?

I just make my own
drill them out the old stock ones
and save the steel insert.
Then make my own.

I personaly dont run the medieval bushings but I know they have changed them a few times now. They now offer two different bushings, the link I posted are only slightly softer then OEM. Eric

I ran the monoballs in the lower arms and in the forward upper arms. I ran the Medevil on the upper rearend mounts. If everything is jigged correctly and nothing bent or binding, they will last a season. The only times I would tear them up was when something was bent and not perfectly in line.
