I was at 40 and the car was loose out on a very rough track, I have seen guys running 200+ and was wondering what car should do if I went that high

Start at 150 and go up 25lbs at a time till you don't like it. Each driver prefers a different set up. It all ranges from 100 to 350lbs of bite. I have 216 pounds of bite in my car and don't have any drive issues off the corner! To each their own though.

I agree with above statement. You need way more than 40 anybody will tell you that. Mine is around 350. When I started racing I had 175 and learned to drive it that way, it was loose but I learned throttle control.

I usually run between 50-150lb but I drive my car straighter than most. Hardly hang rear out in corners. Ain't no magic number for lr weight. Some guys have to run a lot and a right car, some like em loose. Just play with it and figure out what's best for you.

meaning the more LR bite you have, the tighter the car should be ? would too much bite only show on exit , or could it start to be snug in the center?

too much bite and the car gets loose going in [off throttle] and gets tight in the center and most of the time it swings loose exiting [on throttle]..
