    Tungate and Despain Take Checkered Flags at Lake Cumberland Speedway

    Burnside, KY- June 15, 2013- Lake Cumberland Speedway would be in action on Saturday night and feature winners for the evening included Tim Tungate of Campbellsville, KY in Super Late Models and Elliott Despain on Campbellsville, KY in Modifieds.

    The win for Tungate was his second straight in Super Late Model action at Lake Cumberland Speedway came aboard the J&L Motorsports owned Wilson Plumbing/Dale Petty Well Service/Murphy Oil and Well Service/Brown’s Blacktop Sealing and Striping/Brown’s Tire Service/Barnes Auto Sales/Sexton’s Logging and Trucking sponsored #18 C.J. Rayburn Race Car powered by a Dale Meers race engine. Tungate would take the win over Aaron Hatton, David Webb, Johnny Wheeler, and Clint Vaughn. Dennis Barton and Ben Petrey did not start the main event.

    Elliott Despain would out distance Tommy Gregory to take his first win of the season in the Modified feature event behind the wheel of the Billy and Lisa Despain owned Lucas Oil Products/Southern Indiana Rock Drilling/Miller Pest Control/Family Eyecare/Chandler Electric Heating and Cooling/Swafford Signs/SpeeDecals Vinyl Graphic sponsored #75 Bandit Race Car powered by a Dale Meers Race Engine.

    Only two mods. Shouldnt have been too tough of a race. lol

    We were the other mod there was no racing we both agreed to make only 10 laps and both were agreed to the same money no since in racing each other Brandon could have made us load up but he didn't he took care of the both of us thanks Brandon

    LMAO did you take a group picture in victory lane.....On a side note anyone who doesn't think Brandon is here for the racers is full of crap! If that track was close it'd be my home track.

    I wish there were more like him. Plus, he HAS been on both sides so he knows what its like to get screwed at the pay window.
