    Default dual or single plan

Which would be better, dual or single plane intake for vortec heads, stock valves, .442/.465 max lift.

Unless you are racing under 3000 RPM a single plane is better, Victor 2925 even tested better on a .450 lift cam 350ci engine we tested it on.

Thanks. I have a single plan. What about carburetors. I have a 500 2bl or 750. This is for a late model class and wondering if I can use the parts I have.

If you are allowed the 750 you will get run over without it. The 2bbl is not flowed the same way a 4bbl is and that 500 if tested the same is about 1/2 the flow. What are the rules for the class you are going to be running in?

I didn't know if the 750 might be too much. The rules are stock crank rods 4v releif pistons no aftermarket heads lift rule on cam. Close to 602 specs which is a engine option.

A 750 jetted right on a 602 will beat a 500 2 bbl on the same motor. Ideal, No but the 750 will still make more power and outrun the 2bbl.

Thanks for the help. I'll use the parts I have for now and look into a dual plane. I have never driven a 4 bar or wide tired car so it probably won't matter for awhile anyway.
