    Default Rear rotors

I ordered new rotors for my rear to replace the cracked ones I had. Just so happens that I got the wrong size instead of the 0.810 I got the 1.25 thickness.

They fit if I shave the pads down to about 1/8-3/16 little tight but should work it out or should I just say oh well better to "measure twice" and "order once" lol and get new ones that are the right thickness?

Are you running the pad spacers between the piston of the caliper and the brake pad? You shouldn't need them with the thicker rotors.

The piston needs to come out far enough for brakefluid to be behind it or you wont have good pressure on your pads

Hi Danny...I would sell the 1.25 rotors and get the .810 rotors if you have calipers designed for the .810 rotor. Your going to lose a lot of pad thickness if you grind each pad off a 1/4 " to make up for the 1/2" difference...
