“One again, we are setting new industry standards as the leader in economical dirt late model racing by making it easier to purchase a Chevrolet Performance CT 525 Engine,” Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series Founder and Director Mike Vaughn said. “Since we’re a series that likes to do things that have never been done before, we have established a working relationship with an outside lender that is offering a 24-month, no money down financing program for competitors with approved credit.”

The economical all-aluminum Chevrolet Performance CT 525 Engine is based off the Chevrolet LS production engine that is available in the Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, and the Chevrolet SS. The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series is the first dirt late model series in the country where a factory-production sealed engine is being used for competition.

The 2013 Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series season will begin on August 2 at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL. The 10-race series will feature $3,000-to-win, $300-to-start 50-lap races, with the series finale, the Dega 100 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on October 12, paying $6,000-to-win.
