Sounds like a good sales guy.... We "had" the same or very similar issue. Found the answer tonight during testing. Offer still stands with a call.

Yes we have bearing birdcages, thing is, is they are from our chassis builder, who ironically runs BSB cages. We went through everything that I was told to by BSB and we found part of our problem was the brake floater, not enough angle, and binding on the spacer, and moved to the other side of the floater. Our next problem is shocks, we are running at least 3-5 year old shocks, old Bilstein's that have not been gone through at all and they are not building rebound. Those are the only used parts on this car, and I think I finally have them convinced we need to step up our shocks
