84 cutlass 602 crate th350 trans 4.10 gears 900 rf 800lf 250 RR 175lr car handles great on tacky track and even when it dries out a little but if it goes dry slick were horrible need help cars weighs 3470 with driver pure stock on 3/8 mile high bank track help please tire pressures 10lf 11lr 12rr 14 rf
PS not trying to be rude but every time I ask people want me to change my front springs they work great 98% of the time so were good
-
You're gonna have to say more than "were horrible". What is the car doing? What tires are you running?
-
Hooiser g 60 car goes into 4 wheel slide in the corner and slides bad anytime were on the gas
-
u need to swap rear springs, and go from there
-
ps everyone's car handles great on tacky
-
With the last setup which was a 300rr 225lr we were bad on a tacky track and worse come feature time this is our best so far when it hits dry slick we cant do anything though if it just dries out some were still pretty good
-
Put the 250 in the lr, and the 175 on the rr or a 200
-
I'm sure everyone will agree u need the stiffer spring on the lr. just swap the rear springs, reset ride heights and bite
-
I'd suggest raising any ballast you have higher in the car, if you can.
-
I agree with stock car driver! air those tires up and swap the rear springs around

dry slick track help
Post the wheel weights & the wheel offsets. If the wheels does not
line up front to rear tell which one or ones sets out more than the other.
dirt2

Raise weight, and more air pressure 16lf, 15lr, 16rr, 18rf. RR 2" in from rf, left sides even.
-
Amen on more air pressure,,,,you are running air pressure for a 2300# mod,,not a 3400# tank!
We build fast race cars,,not race cars fast!

I have been experimenting with air pressures this year and the higher air pressures are working better for me!
