Farmer City Raceway 2013 Points Wrap up this Friday August 9th(Farmer City, IL) With the 2013 Farmer City Raceway season points coming to a close this Friday August 9th, it has been quite a year. A lot of changes took place this year on the dirt ¼ mile for the 2013 season with the Farmer City Fair Board taking the reins. “Track conditions were consistently racy and gave our dedicated race fans exciting side by side racing action week after week” says Jim Quinn. In keeping with the tradition of decades of high flying racing action, Farmer City Raceway stepped up in the 2013 race season and delivered.With the 2013 Farmer City Raceway points chase coming to close this Friday August 9th there are still championships yet to be decided. In the UMP Late Model division, #83 Scott Bull holds the top spot with Scott Schmitt 29 points behind and the” Z” Factor of Joe Harlan in 3rd trailing Bull by 45 points. D1 of Lance Dehm has a well gripped division lead in the UMP Modifieds, leading 2nd place Jay Ledford by 67 points and 3rd place Jeff Leka by 129. The UMP Sportsman division will be up for grabs with the 99J of Jimmy Dehm holding a 14 point lead over Dustin Mounce, with Jim Bailey 31 points back and Troy Dodson 40 points back. Jerrad Krick’s 99K carries the UMP Street Stock lead by 44 points Jeff Semmens and 61 points over 3rd place Jordan Smith.The tightest points race to be decided is the UMP Hornets with the top 5 separated by only 18 points. The 20H of Larry Hawk will go into the night with a 2 point lead over David Lauritson, the #40 Adam Webb is 7 points out of the lead.
