Default Imca Hoosier G60 15 tire question

Quick question, is there any possible way to get a close size of theses tire without actually mounting them on a wheel and inflating them. The numbers written on them don't seem to be right.

Typically they come out about 1.5" smaller than what they are marked for right sides. I dont use the left sides so not sure how those come out.

I would say the 1.5" smaller than marked is pretty close. They make two different sizes "19 and 20" the 19 are the smaller tire but you could get a big 19 the same size as a small 20. Generally a tire marked 85 will come out to around 83.5" but until you mount them up and put a heat cycle in them you won't know for sure.

I heard an interesting conversation about staggering the tires, this past Saturday and thought I would put it along with the tire question. We found out some one measures by only using the edge of the tire, not going from middle to middle because the tire is flattened when on the ground. How do you measure stagger? Middle of tire; 1/2 way to middle or edge of tire? We use a stagger took not tape measure. Thanks.

You can get a rough idea on size by measuring them around the edge of the tread when they are not mounted. I have not had any issues just going off the marked sizes.

I mounted 4 yesterday and stood them up all next to each other. With them all deflated I placed them visually smallest to largest and after mounting and inflating them to the same pressure the smallest looking tite was actually the biggest. Take the time and see what u actually have.
