    Wink pure stock setup help

    looking for a basic starting point, 79 grandprix 3200 lbs semi banked 3/8. looking for spring sz, shocks, dot tire brand and sz or sizes. rim sz or sizes. car has to be stock as factory. Thanks for any help, Matt

    I think you answered yourself with car has to be stock as factory, does this mean stock springs and shocks. Rules usually dictate wheel size and tire size, run the widest tire thats legal. Best overall radial ive ever ran is a bf goodrich radial t\a.

    Basic "first time you ever raced or built a car" starting points:

    LF spring = 11" 1000# RF spring = 11" 1100#
    LR spring = 12" half pigtail 225# RR spring = 12" half pigtail 200#

    15 x 8" wheels with bolt pattern matching your car (yours are probably 4.75" bolt pattern)
    Tires - right side P265-60R15 left side P245-60R15 BFG Radial T/A is a good choice

    Primewell tires seem to work good....
