CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Championship is still up for grabs after Week 25 competition, as neither Trey Bright of Coker, AL nor Kevin Spears of Fayette, AL failed to net any points on their respective 14 week totals. Bright leads Spears by three points with two weeks left in the 2013 season.

Week 25 competition did produce some movement among the Top 20 drivers in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with some new faces showing in the Top 10 points fund paying spots.

Bright failed to net on a 48 after finishing eighth on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS. Bright remains the point leader in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division with a best 14 week total of 693 points after nine wins, 18 top five finishes and 22 top ten finishes in 28 races driving the AKA Cores Chevrolet.

Spears did not compete in NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 25 action, but still holds the second spot in the standings with a best 14 week total of 690 points. Spears has seven wins, 18 top five finishes and a series-leading 23 top ten finishes in 24 races driving the Ross Designz.com Chevrolet powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine.

Calvin Cook of Pace, FL drove the Foam Seal Insulation Chevrolet powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine to a fifth-place finish on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA, but failed to net on a 46. Cook remains in the third spot of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14 week total of 672 points after two wins, 17 top five finishes and 19 top ten finishes in 20 races.

Roger Flynn of Denham Springs, LA is fourth in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14 week total of 668 points after nine wins, 16 top five finishes and 20 top ten finishes in 22 races driving the Flynn Racing Chevrolet. Flynn finished fourth on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway to gain six points after netting on a 41.

Adam Cheeks of Guntown, MS moved into the Top 5 of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division point standings after driving the Flurry Motorsports Chevrolet to his third win of the season on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway. Cheeks netted on a 41 to gain nine points and bring his best 14 week total up to 658 points after three wins, 11 top five finishes and 13 top ten finishes in 15 races.

Dave Nations of Raymond, MS did not compete in NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 25 action and dropped to the sixth spot in the standings with a best 14 week total of 650 points. Nations has one win, nine top five finishes and 13 top ten finishes in 15 races driving the Street Stock Set Up Specialists Chevrolet powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine.

Mark Barnett of Aberdeen, MS drove the MC Construction Chevrolet to a sixth-place finish on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway to reach the 14 week mark of his season with 647 points and make his first appearance of the season in the Top 10 of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings in the seventh spot. Barnett has four wins, nine top five finishes and 14 top ten finishes in 15 races.

Another driver making his first appearance of the season in the Top 10 of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division point standings is Jeremy Flurry of Smithville, MS, who drove the Flurry Motorsports Chevrolet to a second-place finish on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway to reach the 14 week mark of his season with 642 points. Flurry has one win, nine top five finishes and 11 top ten finishes in 14 races.

Brandon Leftwich of Meridian, MS is ninth in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14 week total of 637 points after eight top five finishes and 17 top ten finishes in 21 races driving the American Portable Buildings Chevrolet powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine. Leftwich finished third on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS to net on a 43 and gain five points.

Eddie Willis of Saucier, MS rounds out the Top 10 of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14 week total of 634 points after two wins, 14 top five finishes and 21 top ten finishes in 26 races driving the Willis Racing Chevrolet. Willis finished third on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway to net on a 41 and gain seven points.

In other NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 25 action, Landon Frith of Terry, MS drove the Triple A Diesel Chevrolet to his second win of the season on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park. Rocky DeGruy of Denham Springs, LA took his fifth win of the season on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway driving the Westside Oil Recovery Buick.
