16 year old Joshua Bishop tops field in Showdown in Savannah

16 year old Joshua Bishop from Statesboro Georgia led flag to flag to grab the crate latemodel feature at Oglethorpe Speedway's Showdown in Savannah. Starting on the outside of the front row with Dillon Wood Bishop put his Walter Newman Race Car in the lead at the drop of the green flag . After a caution with 6 laps to go Bishop again put his Walter Newman Machine to the front over Mark Whitner to collect the victory. Thanks to all that contributed to the win: Augusta Industrial Services, Pope Construction Statesboro Georgia, Kennedy's Heating and Air Statesboro Georgia and Walter Newman Race Cars.
