    what rpm do you use when setting the timing to 36 to 38 degrees?

    Rev it to 2500-3000 to stabilize it while setting.

    it all depends where your dizzy stops advancing at. Find that point, usually around 3000 if its set up right, then make your base timing from there.

    You have a locked dist or not?

    stock dist, vaccum line disconected,advance not locked, whats a good way to lock it ?

    Use the TFI dist and no worry about it moving. It will stay where you set it.
