Man this topic is surprisingly dead. And no talk of the $10K Lucas Oil race at Macon either... Hmmmm.

    Thumbs up

Both have racing backgrounds. Brandon dean has owned a Modified team that a few notables have driven his cars. Jason Plumer has owned and driven his L.M. and mod.Jason promoted the S/N shows when Ms. Hamilton owned the track.Wait and see I guess/

They built this track in it's present location and moved everything from the Mt. Hawley location in late 1964 into 1965. The first racing at the Farmington Rd. location took place towards midsummer of '65.

The track had only been in it's present location for a short time when the first flood happened. Flooding is not a new phenomenon at Peoria and been a problem almost from day one and any new ownership should be well aware of what lies in store.

I lived in the Peoria area for 10 years now and this year was the first year for me that I saw it flood out lie it did. To be honest there were places flooded in late April of this year around here that wasn't in a flood plain...

No, flooding at Peoria isn't an every year occurrence, but it is something that is bound to happen from time to time and always has almost from the time it was built in it's present location.
