lift arm vs pullbar
whats everyones thoughts on lift arm vs pullbar on short 1/4 mile tracks with
tight corners?

If you can't get to 36 '' out from the center of the quickchange to the 5th coil spring, don't waste your time they may run them shorter 5th arms with the usmts stuff The UMP tires takes a longer 5th arm.

You will also need to run a ton more lr bite.

erm is correct we are 150 to 175 pds of LR,with the driver, this could be a great post if guys and gals would spit out some good info,I can tell you just about every thing that we wern't able to get to work and what has worked on UMP tires.

Lift worked great in the tack and was fast, but as the track slicks off it isn't worth a S*** on Pierce cars ! JME

Not running a lift arm but if I was the LR shock would be clamped in front of the axle. Some very fast cars do this.

On a short 1/4 Bull ring, I think you are gona be better off with the pull bar setup. On a Bigger momentum type track, I can see the advantages of the lift bar. Just depends where and how you run.

What kind of adjustments does everyone make with torque arm as the track gets real slick to still have drive in the car?
