We would like to take this time to reflect on our season and give thanks to everyone involved in the 2013 SRRS season. Our season was shortened and plagued by rain. We ran 13 events this season due to the weather.

Josh Putnam was crowned the champion after a tight points battle with runner-up finisher Jason Welshan. This year's points battle proved to be one of the most intense points battle in all series. The points came down to the last event November 9th at Boyd's Speedway. For the first time in many years, the points were not decided with at least two events remaining.

This year saw three new drivers added to the SRRS event winner list. Michael Page took home his first SRRS win in our first event of the season at Boyd's Speedway. Jackie Boggs took home his first SRRS career victory at our first ever event at 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY. Chad Ogle would also claim his first career SRRS victory at Volunteer Speedway after leader Vic Hill folded to mechanical issues.

Our winners this year: Michael Page, Riley Hickman, Dane Dacus, Jackie Boggs, Chad Ogle, Ray Cook, Josh Putnam, Randy Weaver, and Billy Ogle Jr.

We would like to take this time to thank all of our sponsors for this season. All of this would not be possible without their support. Thank you to all of the tracks for supporting series racing by sanctioning with the SRRS. We were able to visit new tracks this season and return to tracks that have supported the SRRS for many years. Thanks to Boyd's Speedway, Thunderhill Raceway, Tennessee National Raceway, 201 Speedway, Volunteer Speedway, Duck River Raceway Park, Smoky Mountain Speedway.

Thanks to all of the drivers for competing with the SRRS this season. It has been a thrilling season. We would like to thank Josh Putnam, Jason Welshan, and Ryan King for their commitment to the SRRS this season. It has been great traveling the road with these drivers and their crews. We are glad that you are a part of the SRRS.

We had 180+ drivers compete with the SRRS this season. Over our eight seasons, we have had over 700 drivers compete with us. We would not be able to do this without the drivers. Thank you!

And last but not least, we would like to take the time to thank of all the FANS that have supported us for the past eight seasons. You make it possible to do what we love. You bought SRRS shirts, spent money on tickets to watch some of the best racing around, sat in the snow to watch a feature, braved the cold, and supported the SRRS from day one. We can not thank you enough for supporting us!
