CARTERSVILLE, GA – The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series 2014 Schedule is showing ten races and counting for America’s first “Factory Backed and Factory Built” super late model series. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will bookend the schedule with a $3,000-to-win 50-lap race on March 15 and the $6,000-to-win 2nd Annual Dega 100 on October 11.

East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Al will host three events on the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series schedule. EAMS will host the second race of the season on April 12.

The Chevy Super will be a part of the 36th Annual Alabama State Championship Races on September 25-28 with two races. The first race will be a 30-lap $2,000-to-win event on September 27, and the second event will be a 50-lap $3,000-to-win race on September 28.

Penton Raceway in Penton, AL will present Round 3 for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series on May 17 with a $3,000-to-win 50 lap race. Penton Raceway was the site of the very first Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series race last season where the 2013 Champion William Thomas of Phenix City, AL took the win.

The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will return to Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN for two races in 2014. The Bad Fast Taz will be the site for Round 4 of the 2014 season with a $3,000-to-win 50-lap race on June 14, and then return on August 31 for the $4,400-to-win 6th Annual Buddy Rogers Memorial 44.

Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, TN will present the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series for the first time with a 50-lap $3,000-to-win race on June 21. The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will also visit 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN for the first time with a $3,000-to-win 50-lap race on September 20.

Chevrolet Super Late Model Series officials are still in negotiations with several other tracks wanting races. Once dates are secured for these events, they will be announced and added to the 2014 Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series schedule.

The dirt late models in the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series are powered by the production-based all-aluminum LS3 Engine that comes in the Chevrolet Corvette, the Chevrolet Camaro, and the Chevrolet SS that are sold at Chevrolet dealerships worldwide.
