Default Anticipation Grows for the Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing

WAYCROSS, GA (JANUARY 27, 2014) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are ready to kick off the 2014 racing season, beginning with the Georgia Boot “Super Bowl of Racing” at Golden Isles Speedway, in Waynesville, GA.

The Georgia Boot “Super Bowl of Racing” for the LOLMDS, will consist of an open practice on Wednesday, February 5th, for all divisions, from 6PM to 11PM (ET) and three full nights of racing, from February 6th through 8th. Each day, the Pit Gates open at Noon, the General Admission Gates open at 3PM, the Drivers Meeting will be at 4:30PM, and Hot Laps will begin at 5:00PM. The stars of the LOLMDS will attend a special Georgia Boot Driver autograph session from 3:30PM until 4:15PM on Saturday. Georgia Boot discount coupons and autograph cards will be distributed to fans attending the autograph session.

The Georgia Boot "Super Bowl of Racing" will also include a fan appreciation contest for fans that attend the kick off weekend in Georgia. Fans will be able to register at the Georgia Boot display booth, at the track - for a chance to win cash and prizes from Georgia Boot and Lucas Oil. On Saturday, Feb 8th, twenty-four (24) names will be drawn from the entry box at the Georgia Boot booth, matching a fan with each driver that starts the feature event on Saturday night. The fan matched with the winning driver, of the feature event, will win $515 and a pair of Georgia Boots. Fans matched with second and third place drivers in the feature event will also win a gift package from Georgia Boot and Lucas Oil.

In addition to the posted purse money for each night’s events, HotRod Tracker will pay a $2,000 cash bonus to the driver that earns the most points for the three days of racing at the Georgia Boot “Super Bowl of Racing”. To be eligible for this award, a driver must enter all three night’s events. The driver earning the most points during the weekend will be crowned the HotRod Tracker Points Champion, on Saturday night. HotRod Tracker will also give away a free HotRod Tracker device to one lucky fan, drawn from the contest box at the HotRod Tracker vendor trailer in the midway area at GIS. The grand prize winner will be drawn on Saturday night before the feature event.
