    Default Radiator Hold Down

    Can anybody upload some pictures of how they mount their radiator? Im redoing my mounts and looking for some ideas that work well for others or that I havent thought of. Thanks in advance

    2 padded or unpadded U brackets on the bottom and 1 or 2 on the top (bolted on). Not sure how much simpler you could make it. Not really sure what you're after.

    on the bottom we got about a dime size solid steel bar, heated and bent to the U or J shape we needed, placed 5/8 rubber hose over the bar for cushion on the top took one piece of 1inch flat iron, heated and bent to the shape we desired and put rubber over it to for cushion.

    A simple "L" shaped support piece on the bottom and top of the Rad is how I do it. Make it so it fits down into the the recessed area of the rad. Make it light as you can. On a SS I would use a piece of 3/4 conduit bent up on the ends and weld the L shaped support to it for the rad to sit on, then set your rad height and weld that to the frame. Make the same L shaped support for the top and make it bolt to you front hoop. Strong, and light, works well.
