Default $25,000 Sunoco Race Fuels Butterball

Richmond, KY – February 4, 2014 – Richmond Raceway promoters are no strangers to pulling rabbits out of their hats to keep Super Late Model Racing alive and competitive in Central Kentucky. B.O.S.S. (Battle of the Super Series) is bringing in the 2014 Season at the 3/10 mile paperclip racetrack, in Central Kentucky, with a vengeance. B.O.S.S. was articulated with regional racer’s time, money and families in mind, to showcase the incredible talent of Super Late Model Drivers in our area. Such talent like Michael Chilton, Mike Jewell, Greg Johnson, Victor Lee, Brad Neat, Dustin Neat and many more have already shown interest in or committed to running the five (5) scheduled races of B.O.S.S. at Richmond Raceway.

B.O.S.S. races at Richmond include the $3000 to win Rain Dodger 40 on May 17, $2500 Topless Sunoco Sizzler on June 28, $10,000 to win 27th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels Butterball™ Memorial on July 12, the Inaugural Battle of Richmond paying an impressive $2930 to win August 2nd and the 2014 Season Championship race with $2500 up for grabs on September 13. While each race is paying good money, Art Attack of Richmond is also including a $100 hard charger award and Hager Cabinets and Building Supplies is adding a $100 fast qualifier award. Revelution Chassis is also offering $1,000 off a new chassis to the B.O.S.S. Champion.

As if that wasn’t enough, Richmond Raceway will also have the first ever Butterball™ Pole Sitter Challenge during the 27th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels Butterball™ Memorial. The pole sitter of the Butterball™ Memorial will be given the option, just before the green flag flies for the 50 lap feature, to hold the pole position and run for a $10,000 payday or opt to take the 20th starting position and race their way through the field for a $25,000 winner’s purse. “The challenge is unique and should not only make the racing more exciting for the racers, but for our fans as well” comments Joey Tackett.
