    Default quick change questions??

    bought a used quick change other day,..an not sure if its a 4:11 or a 4:86,..whats easiest way to figure out what i have??

    Count teeth on ring and pinion then divide pinion number into ring number. At least take bells off and clean and check it while counting.

    Put a gearset in the rear" like one that you KNOW is a 600..with a 4.86" and count the turns of the pinion verses the turns of the wheel. 6 rounds confirmes that its a 4.86.
